Who is it for?

Data privacy is as much a cultural and behavioural thing as a legal one. To do it right, you need to make sure your employees know what data privacy is and - more importantly - what it means for them in their work. Training and awareness should be priorities, but it’s important that your training is not just a tick-box exercise - it needs to make sense to the people taking it or you’re wasting your budget!

This is suitable for any business:

• That already has a ‘data protection’ training package but need it to be more engaging • that already has a data protection training package that hasn’t been reviewed since GDPR in 2018 • that has no training in place for its employees

Pricing:

As there are so many different possibilities, it is difficult to give a firm price here. The prices below are a guide, but the final price will depend on your requirements and the work involved. A firm price will be agreed before any work begins and you’ll know exactly what you’ll be paying and what you’ll get for your money. We offer several different packages:

1. Advice Only - £175

a simple offering that includes: • discussion to find out about your business, its activities and employees and assess its needs • Review of any existing training material • Advice on the best training approach for your business

2. Generic Data Privacy Training Package £450

What’s included: • Initial discussion • Our generic ‘Introduction to Data Privacy’ package ready for you to use under licence for up to 50 employees (with additional £50 per 100 employees thereafter) Just add your own branding and put it into your chosen format or platform. • Advice on how to roll out and use the package

3. Generic Data Privacy Training, Classroom-based £800

What’s included: • Initial discussion • Delivery of generic data privacy training x 1 session (additional session on same or following day extra £50 - plus accommodation if this requires an overnight stay) • Reasonable follow-up questions/queries

4. Bespoke Data Privacy Training Package, £975

The price may vary price depending on the size, scale, content, depth, number of languages and other factors but will be agreed before work starts What’s included: • Initial discussion to scope out what is needed and prepare a quotation and proposal (a deposit of £75 applies for this service, refunded against the cost of purchase or of services purchased ain the next 6 months) • Creation of a fully bespoke training package suitable for use online, with the content and number of modules dependant on your business, industry, location and employees. The package will be written specifically for your organisation and you will own the copyright. • Material provided in Powerpoint format with accompanying notes in Word • If required, liaison with an online content provider of your choice and management of the process of production, review and roll-out of the training online (additional charge) • If required, we will work with a translation services and manage the process of translation and roll-out (additional charge)

5. Bespoke Data Privacy Training, Classroom-based Or Via

Zoom/teams, £1450

The price may vary price depending on the size, scale, content, depth, number of languages and other factors but will be agreed before work starts What’s included: • Initial scoping meeting to discuss your business and its needs • The creation and delivery of a training session tailored to the needs of your business and employees • Delivery x 1 session either in person or over Zoom/Teams (each additional session delivered in person the same or following day £50 plus accommodation if this requires an overnight stay) • If applicable, preparation of written summary/follow-up • Support via e-mail or phone for follow-up queries for 2 weeks after the event. • If required, booking of a suitable venue (charged to you) • All training materials, in Word/Powerpoint format

6. Interactive Half-day Data Privacy Workshop In-house £1750

What’s included: • An initial scoping meeting and discussions with any key individuals in your business • Preparation and delivery of an interactive half day data privacy workshop in-house or at a venue of your choice. (additional session same or following day an extra £700 plus accommodation if an overnight stay is required) • If required, booking of a suitable venue (charged to you) • Reasonable follow up queries afterwards If what your business needs isn’t listed here, just ask and we can tailor a package to suit!
