This package is suitable for businesses that: • Aren’t sure about whether their marketing is in line with data privacy law • Would like to take their marketing into new channels and methods but want to know they’re doing it legally • Are just about to start actively marketing their customers and want to stay on the right side of the law. We’d always recommend that you purchase our privacy policy package at the same time, as they often go hand in hand, but it’s not essential.

What’s included?

• Initial consultation or meeting in which we’ll talk about your business, your marketing aims and plans and ways of achieving them, including whether or not you need to obtain consent. • If applicable, discussions/meetings with key individuals in your business (e.g. your marketing team or CRM team if you have one) • Written confirmation of my advice, guidance and recommendations • If applicable, the production of wording you can use to obtain consent to marketing, and/or suitable wording to be included in your existing privacy policy, along with guidance on how/where to use it. • Any phone or e-mail conversations while work is under way • One round of revisions to any consent/sign up/policy wording I prepare for you (further rounds subject to a small additional charge) • Wrap up call to ensure you understand the guidance provided. • Follow-up call after 3 months to check on progress • 10% discount on any further services bought as a result

Add-ons and extras

• Discussions with any third party companies you use for marketing - additional £75 • Help in selecting a third party to help with your marketing: additional £50 • Preparation of copy for use in customer communication of marketing information: additional £75 • Preparation of internal guidance or a marketing manual for your internal team: additional £50- £100 • Remote support on call during roll-out of any marketing sign-up/reconsent campaign or communication: additional £50 per day

• Update of your privacy policy or cookie notice • preparation of any documentation not mentioned above • mileage if applicable

What will I have at the end of it?

• A clear understanding of, and written guidance on,what you can/can’t do in your marketing activities • appropriate wording to use for sign-up and/or include in your privacy policy • Written advice on next steps or other recommendations
