Who is it for?

You hold regular fire drills to make sure that everyone in your organisation knows what to do in the event of a fire, and you may also hold business continuity/disaster recovery exercises to prepare your business for an emergency, such as if your business suffered a power outage or your premises were destroyed - but do you and your employees know what to do in the event of a data security breach? You may have a process on paper, but would it work in practice? When a data breach occurs, emotions run high, panic sets in and things can rapidly spin out of control just at the time you need to be most in control. By holding a simulation exercise and working your way through an imaginary incident, you’ll be able to see exactly how your business would cope, identify any gaps in your processes and see whether it works as well in reality as it does on paper.

As the exercise is tailored to suit your specific requirements and needs, the price will vary and it is not possible to give a firm price at this stage so the prices given here are a guide only. What is included?

• Initial scoping meeting and discussions with key individuals in your business • Preparation of a tailored breach-simulation exercise • Delivery/facilitation of the exercise on your premises (or at a preferred location - if required, we can arrange venue hire) • written follow up report and recommendations • review and update/re-write of your existing breach handling policy/process in line with the findings of the exercise • wrap up meeting

What is not included?

• Any additional work • Further support, other than reasonable follow-up queries after the event • Mileage and accommodation, if applicable • venue hire, if applicable • Translation of any documents (although we can arrange for translation to be carried out, if applicable) • Creation of an incident readiness process from scratch if you do not already have one in place (although you will receive a 10% discount should you wish us to prepare one for you) What will I get? • The opportunity to try out your incident readiness process in a safe and confidential way, and the peace of mind of knowing that your business is prepared should it ever face a data security incident.
